Exertion headaches are not just a problem for professional athletes—they can affect anyone. Pain on Both Sides of the Head

There are many different types of headaches, and each headache has slightly different symptoms. If you experience pain on only one side of your head, you are not likely to be suffering from an exertion headache. Exertion headaches are caused by excessive blood pressure in the brain as a result of increased physical activity.
